Silverlight Export/Print to PDF

I posted a project over on CodePlex.com and I'll be writing a post about the project here when time permits. Three kids, two of them under the age of two, makes finding time to blog hard. Either way if you are looking for a way to export or print Silverlight 3 projects to PDF or PNG then you should check out the project.

You can find it at http://silverlightpdf.codeplex.com. Check back here in a few days and I will hopefully have a full writeup about the project. Until then, go download the project and post any comments or questions here or on the project's discussion board, which can be found at http://silverlightpdf.codeplex.com/Thread/List.aspx.

Until then this is the Silverlight Buddy signing off.

Silverlight 4 Beta Released

Microsoft has just released Silver 4 Beta with an incredible slew of new features and improvement. One of the biggest new features is that finally Silverlight will finally support printing! Now we wont have to post our data to a WCF service or httphandler to process our bitmap stream and returns us a PDF or other meaning file format that we can save.

I can hardly wait, read more about it at http://silverlight.net/getstarted/silverlight-4-beta and download the SL 4 SDK at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=169408
